Our Treatment Philosophy

Eating disorders are very complicated illnesses that require a deep understanding of the underlying issues to effectively support a client in their journey. At HNT we believe that a multi-disciplinary approach is vital for successful treatment of those with eating disorders. A multidisciplinary team usually consists of a registered dietitian, a psychotherapist, a medical doctor, and a psychiatrist. As a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist in Monroe, LA, I collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive care, as I believe that healing with nutrition first is essential for the full remission of an eating disorder. Many factors impact eating disorders, and my goal is to treat the individual holistically, addressing their needs while considering other aspects that affect their overall health and well-being through healing nutrition.
